Ryan Thielman is currently an in demand free-lance lead trumpet and solo artist in the Cincinnati Ohio tri-state area. Ryan has performed with many notable artists and groups such as Buddy Guy, Jim Peterik, Tito Puente Jr.,
The O’ Jays, Paul Wertico, Roger Ingram, and Jon Von Ohlen’s famous Blue Wisp Big Band. Ryan has also worked for Princess Cruise lines as a lead trumpet player in many show bands. Ryan currently free lances in the area with over 15 groups regularly and travels the country touring with Ray Massa’s Eurorhythms. Equally at home in any genre, Ryan maintains a busy and active performing schedule.
 

Ryan studied jazz trumpet at Roosevelt Universities Chicago College of Performing Art’s and is currently finishing up his Master’s degree in jazz trumpet at the College Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati. In the fall, Ryan will begin his work towards his Doctoral degree in classical trumpet in Kansas City at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
